Just saw the Coen brothers version, different than the original movie with the Duke and I liked it. Several knives had close up shots, Mattie cutting a rope, Mattie being threatened with a knife, Rooster cutting Mattie's hand. Does anyone know who made them?

One of the ones used in the movie (I think it was the one carried by Jeff Bridges' Character) looked a whole lot like this:

'Drifter' bowie, made by Ontario, designed by Bill Bagwell.

Can't be sure, though.

Fairly certain is was a Randall 7.

I'm not all that familiar with Randall knives, thought I ought to be. I've looked through the online Randall catalog and can't find anything that resembles what I remember the knife looking like.

My recollection is that the knife carried by Bridges' Rooster Cogburn definitely resembles the "Drifter Bagwell Bowie" as I've seen it advertised.

I think both Cogburn's and LaBoeuf's knives were in the style of Bowies. Any additional information would be appreciated.

Steven Rick of Cimarron, NM made several of them. I was just there and purchased on of his knives. Phil Champlin, Napa, CA

I did a Google image search and came up with a Tom Chaney image, from westernleatherholster.com

And the Ned Pepper gun and partial knife.
