Who made the original Chameleon?

I know the Gerber Chameleon has been panned in various threads, but the design is that of a custom maker. Can anyone tell me the name of that maker, and provide a link if he's still working?

Any leads appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I've handled that one. It has no lock, and the feel just didn't do it for me.

I know I've seen pictures of the custom version in one of the knife annuals of the past 5 years, but can't find it in any of my books.
