I picked this up at a great price on the auction site. It was listed in a different category and I think most people didn't realize it was a custom. Seller didn't have any background info on it so thought maybe someone here could help me try and figure out who the maker was.

Some details: Mirror polish blade with the V marking (1989). Pattern/jimping on spine. Some type of hatching pattern on brass bolsters. Jagged cutaway on inside brass liners. Wood has a nice reddish/orange grain. Appears to be maybe Pau Ferro, Cocobolo, or some sort of Cypress. Might even be Pine. Lock back has an "05" on the right side and on the left side there appears to be either "RICE" or "TICE" (can't really see that first letter).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try "Bob Tice" knives.....?

Thanks DeSotoSky! I was able to find his website and emailed him this morning. He responded back this afternoon and said that yes it was his work.

Yes I did the work. 2005. I am interested in it's travels. I am in Sugar Land, TX.

There's an "05" on the rear of the lock back on one side and on the other it says "TICE". I'll attach a few pictures. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
