Who made this knife?

Howdy. I just got back from a gun show in Bozeman and forgot the name of the company that makes this knife and I am not entering the right words to Google. The man selling the knives was just selling them in the leather sheaths that he makes. They are from Oregon and the trademark is the canoe. The knife is forged from saw blade steel. Thanks for your help!

I've seen that symbol and blade style before (it's a common blade style though with the "old West" set).

I think you might have better luck in the makers forum. (or perhaps Traditional area)
 
After I lighened the picture it looks like it is made from Bulat/Wootz not too many people making knives with that.
