Who made this machete?

i have a machete that mysteriously appeared in my shop. it has no manufacturer name on it but it has a bulldog face engraved into the blade. it had a plastic handle that was broken so i busted it off and used the blade to make this:

i am very curious as to who made this machete. it is a very high quality blade, not crap like would come from walmart, etc. if anyone knows please tell. thanks

The bulldog image kind of reminds me of Jim Sargent's "Sarco" & "Sargent Knives" who uses a bulldog as his logo.
