Hello,

I'm not sure if this the correct forum but I was hoping to get some guidance on a machette I recently acquired. From it's profile I'm going with Colima but really interested in determining who manufactured this. The blade is 27" long and is stamped Made in USA N0 41-27. There is also a faded circular stamp with the word QUALITY within the circle. I can see several stars also within the circle but that's about it. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thats made in the USA. Weren't Colimas originally made in Central America, in Guatemala? They were part of the Collins move to Central America.

Colima was a brand but it also refers to a pattern. (Alternative Names: Acapulqueno, Caguayano, Costeno, Panzon.)

If U.S. made, it could be Collins, True Temper or Disston made for some other seller.
