I have just received this CRKT Stiff Kiss as a gift from DaveinWi. (Thank you Dave

) And since the regular version sells without any scales I am wondering who is responsible for such a nice work...

I'm going to assume, for now, that this isn't another run of the old "Stagley knife" joke... If it's not, i have no idea..... Sure is pretty though.

I'd ask Spresser Knife Works (Spresser Knives?) if they did it. Lot's of his (their?) stuff ends up on Ebay. Do a keyword search for "Spresser +knife" or "Spresser +knives"

I think I have a business card in my truck. I'll go look later.

I will explain the 'Stagley' reference. One of our members whose favorite handle material is stag has been using photoshop to doctor up photos of various knives. One of his brilliant creations was a stanley razor blade utility knife with stag handles instead of the usual bright yellow plastic.

Your knife looks like something Phil created. He thinks everything looks good in stag. I even heard Phil was trying to buy enough stag to cover his car with the stuff. You might get a real laugh our of the Herman *Bad* thread over in community where Phil has been trying to improve the artistry and functionality of Tim Herman's crappy knives:

As to who put those nice scales on your knife, I have no idea.

the4th is right - the knife is from Spresser. (I recognize the lanyard as being one of mine.)
