Who made this?

This is a VERY enlarged scan from a shot on a web-site that has nothing to do with knives. The inset is of the knife in the sheath and the knife itself looks like a double-edged sub hilt. It was suggested that the knife is a Loveless knock off, and it resembles a Cold Steel Black Bear except for the wooden handle. Anyone have any idea who made it? Thank's, John.

From the pics it looks to have a deep grind which makes me think it could be a custom. As who the maker is I can't help you.

The scan is not very good but it might have been made by Robert Lum.

Thank's N2S, you're always very helpful! This site sure fills up fast, doesn't it? I have never seen it this busy. But I will check out Robert Lum, he sounds like someone I've heard of before. John.

That is a sub-hilt Big Bear Bob Loveless design. The only manufacturer to make a similar I think is Junglee. Lots of makers have made similar knives, myself included! Loveless and SR Johnson are the best known for them.

You know, sometimes I just HATE the bleeping internet, the phone company, Microsoft, Compaq and whoever else claims to run this totally inept "communications" system. While trying to write this response I was disconnected FOUR bleeping times by my bloody so called server. Twice, when I redialed, my computer crashed before I got a dial tone. If refrigerators worked this well, we'd still be eating smoked meat! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Thank's for listening, I needed to vent. BTW, thank's Rob, for your kind response. I think I'll trade in my computer for an expensive sub-hilt and go off into the mountains where there's no internet and kill animals for food.
