Who made this?

Images would help, the only thing I could google is a reference to some Walmart Knives that are shipped and sold by WWG Holdings.

I'm almost that old and computers are not easy to me. I'll keep trying.

imgur.com cannot be easier. Click "new post" at the top, drag the picture from your folder to the webpage, then copy the link to the image here.

Looks like an old skinner, 10 1/4". Stamped BARSTEEL W.W.G.
I found a few sheep shears made by W.W.G. WIlkinson Co.

Can't say for sure without pictures, but I wouldn't be surprised if an early 19th century manufacturer of shears also made a knife or two.

Thanks, 'Sharp; that makes sense, since the logo is partially hidden by the handle. Logo is nicely surrounded with a ray border. The tang has shaped into a curved guard , protecting the palm. There's a 3/8 or so hole through the handle and blade, just behind the blade. I could see this being used on sheep. I still can't figure the image thing, 'cause I have some nice ones.

Got it now. As soon as I saw the shears by Wilkinson, I knew someone had made a scraping knife out of a shear. Pretty cool. Thanks again for your help, 'Sharp and Planterz!
