Was wondering if anyone could help me out with a little query. I got this blade blank along with two others at a gunshow. They were in a "scrap bin" of assorted unfinished knives. I asked the gentleman behind the table what the blade were made of and he said the fixed blade blanks were dendredic(SP?) steel but he wasn't quite sure what the folder blades were made of. Also couldn't remember who made them.
I am hoping someone here might be able to answer this. It looks to me to be an auto blade blank. More than likely a production knife? If so, who was it made by? What model, and most importantly what type of steel?
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
