HI is certainly capable of making some giant blades. I looked up the movie trailer on IMDB - believe I'll pass on watching the whole movie.
Looks like a movie prop knife to me.

Which is probably a good thing for the actor, considering how much a real HI khukuri that size would weigh.

This movie reminds me of my days studying advertizing where if you put an attractive female in your advertizement your product will jump in sales. Bikinis work especially well for this. The statistic is (or was when I was in school) women are used to sale 50% of all products sold in the USA. Maybe more overseas.

Thanx karda! I LOVE your avatar!! The GWS is my favorite predator. I was a kid when JAWS came out, still love that old mis-enlightened movie, though it made it tough on the species. If I had the cash, id love a 1 1/2 to 2 in. modern GWS tooth as a pendant. Kinda hoakie now, but it would be my greatest knife collecting achievement.

I always wondered why SOG never capitalized on the GWS's mystique, but then sharks EAT seals...

Anyway, I want an HI 25 in ak/m43/bonecutter/whatever...big I know...

i wanna outfit it with a realistic size karda, chakma, and firesteel on a kydex rig, so its less prone 2 water damage...w/sort of a "sharkish" finish to reduce corrosion.

I dont care if wood or horn handles but it must be double rivet full tang variety.

I want a classic khuk shape, not an elongated "bad day at the red light district" look.

A good heavy chopper 4-5 lbs. Ive walked on my arms all my life...weight of this knife, though small in issue is more of a safety issue to be sure.

I use all khuks SLOWLY and keep them slingin' sharp.

You noticed I said B-grade hoochie moovie, right...not great cinema matl. Jaws was better...

Bruce looked more realistic!!!
