I used to see adds for this in the back of Blades but can't seem to find them anymore. Seems like there was a guy here in Georgia that made'em.

Any help?

Might want to check out a maker named Dan Valois, he makes custom versions that handle more like a regular fixed blade than a push dagger.

There was a maker at the November NY knife show that had some very nice belt buckle knives - the buckle itself was the knife! The styles were very urban, so it went well with a suit or a cool urban outfit.

- Saw the prior signature line - Where was Les banned from?

hanwei forge makes a retractable buckle knife that locks in teh extended position. distributed by CAS iberia, I bought mine for about $40. ss blade, horn scale, sheepsfoot blade, no need to take the buckle off to get to the blade like bowen.

I followed the link to Bowen knives and was surprised to find they now make only belt buckle knives. About 25 years ago I purchased a 4" droppoint full tang hunter from them. The steel was 440C and the handle scales were stabilized impregnated walnut. The price was about $45 as I recall. Nice knife but I lost it on a backpacking trip.
