I am looking for one that would have an outer pocket, and maybe a seperate place inside for knives, so the don't bang around with sticks. I also only need a smallish one-I'm not going to carry around 5-6 pairs of sticks. I have only seen JSP's, which are nice, but 50 bucks, and cheap, crappy ones that don't meet my other needs. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joe

I had a custom stick bag made by Dale Brown of Brown Pack Systems. It's made with 1050 denier ballistic cloth and will probably last forever. He can make the bags in whatever size you need.

There's also the JSP Stick Sling. It has a pocket and slots for 2 sticks.

JSP all the way! James makes one of the nicest stick bags around. I have both the bag and the stick sling. These bags are made of the best material and quality zippers. Bags hold 3 pairs of sticks on the outside. You can slide them out. next is a small pocket that is quite big and then the huge main compartment. The stick sling is really nice. It holds one pair of sticks with slide in compartments. And has a large pocket for alot of items. Everyone who has seen a JSP bag orders them asap. These bags will out last you and your children. Remember the old saying "You get what you pay for." It is not really alot of money, when you consider the amount of money you have in training equipment that you will put inside of it. All of that equipment add up fast. Ask anybody here how much they have tied up in equipment. Let us know what bag you decide on.

Check ski bags (those for short ones), about 1m in lenght, perfect for sticks and bokkens and very, very cheap.

I've always used an old semifore/signal flag bag. They're tough and cheap. The old ones, like mine, are one compartment big enough for 2 sticks and a couple training knives. The new ones seem to have 3 compartments side by side.

Justa small teaser here guys but keep your eyes open for anew stick bag from a VERY popular new bag maker. I do have some input in this and I think you folks will like it! It's what I would like to see myself. The quality will be Excellent!

I like the higher quality stick bags made by I&I Sports. They are affordable and get the job done.

On the cheap, the bags for folding chairs also work well for carrying more than a dozen sticks.

I just bought a stick bag from JSP. Called James had it the next day. $38 plus shipping. Sweet bag.

Take care,

Ray Smith

Any updates on this project? :D

Baseball bat bag.

Get one with a pocket for balls and you'll be set.

I have a $19 Rawlings one I've used for over a year that I fit:

2 sets of Rattan Sticks
1 set of Kamagong Sticks
2 Aluminum Training Swords
2 Action Flex
1 Lameco Escrima Padded Stick
4 Training Knives
2 Lameco Forearm Protectors
1 Lameco Hand Protector
Safety Goggles

Still going thru the prtotype stages at "$%#@(&^". They tell me it takes a little time to get past the "bugs" stage and then into production. I'm still waiting too, they have my old stick bag as a model and they are still using it as such.

More news as I get it!

Seriously folks, all you'll ever need is a $19 baseball bat bag with a large side pocket for baseballs.

The bat section will hold all the sticks and training blades you'll ever need and the ball pocket can hold all your misc. stuff.
