I know the CR Insingo is a great one. Does someone make a good one with a flipper? I think the wharncliffe blade shape is good for a lot of things and easy to sharpen. I think WE knives makes one.

Can't go wrong with a Kershaw Leek if you don't mind assisted opening. Spyderco also makes wharncliffe versions of the Delica, no flipper though.

Also just realized a couple more Kizer offerings: The Minitherium and the Megatherium. I have a Mega, and it's a beast of a knife, but for certain applications, it's a pleasure to use.

I have a WE Knives Roxi 4 that is awesome. It's not quite a silky smooth as a Reate, but it's excellent quality. The flipper tab looks a little small, but works perfectly well. I think they're a little hard to find in stock, but might be worth hunting for.

I have an Endura Wharncliffe, too, and I agree that it's a really useful blade shape. No flipper obviously, but easy to open.

I have a YoJumbo that I like. It's definitely on the big side, though. Again, no flipper, but the spydie hole is easier for me to reach than the Yojimbo's was.

I'd also vote Hinderer. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of a no-choil skinny model to replace this one I used to own.

Here's a picture of the WE Roxi 4. I added in a cleaver that's sort of Wharncliffe-esque. It's a Civivi Bullmastiff. It's got about a 4 inch blade and takes up a lot of room in the pocket. It's really well made, though. If that's too big, there is a Mini Bullmastiff as well. Both are about $50. I added the PM2 for size reference.

I love mine. It's great quality. Nice hardware, perfect centering, excellent tolerances, nice detent, etc. The titanium has a bit of a texture to it, too, and is decently grippy. I debated between the gray titanium one and the flame anodized one. I'm REALLY glad I went with the flame anodized one. It's beautiful.

So, yes, highly recommended if you can find one!

Forgive the poor lighting and picture quality (and a little bit of lint!), but this is a closer look at the anodizing:

+1 on the CS Tuff Lite. As a pure working knife it’s pretty great with the thin hollow grind. I use it a lot with leather.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next run of Pro-Tech Malibu. Hopefully they come in multiple colors.
