I want a couple of nice sheaths for my Sebenza's.

One for a small annual and one for a large classic with wood inlays.

I don't mind waiting for the sheaths; just want a nce leather one for knives that deserve the best.

:)

I just got a large William Henry Clip Case which is the perfect size for a small Sebbie. It clips to your pocket and you can keep your Seb inside without worrying about getting it scratched from keys and change. It works better if you take the pocket clip off the Seb though. I left mine on.

I have had a Vess horizontal sheath for a few years (mine is the snakeskin pattern in his gallery)and it is top notch. Still looks like new, holds the knife securely and is very comfortable.

Excellent work!

Gary Graley makes some of the best sheaths for the sebenza.Wonderful person as well.Highly recommend him.

I second Gary Graley.I have some of Gary's sheaths that were made in 2000 they still hold the knife very securely and look great too.all of mine are for horizontal carry. though I didn't buy these two older sheaths directly from Gary.I have at least 6 more and all are superb.

heres his website.

Yep, Gary's the man. His sheaths are of the best quality and he's a true gentleman to with.

Those options sound like good ones, RNST. I like the William Henry cases-- they are relatively inexpensive and decent quality. RNST: I tied to drop you an e-mail, but your e-mail activation isn't active. If you check this, please drop me an e-mail.

My next one will be from KV Collucci. I'd be hard pressed to say who is a better guy; Gary, Kevin and Dave are all first rate fellows.

MY NAME IS KEN!!!!

I've been on this forum for 7 years and no one can get my name right!!! Sheesh! ;) :)

Thanks for the kind words, though. :D

I originally wrote "Gerry, Doug and Kevin", but let one get past the goalie. It is that darn KV, sounds just like KeVin ;)

Thanks guys, being that you're in Canada, Vess may well be your quickest bet
and he may well own the very knife you are looking to have a sheath made.
If not, at least you'd not have to ship the knife across the border which is
a dodgy deal usually!

And as James says, Kevin...I mean Ken could also make something nice for you
as well, not sure if he has said knife in his collection?
G2

(nice one James, pickin' on the mods ;) )

I'll put in another plug for Gary...

He made one for my African Blackwood Large, and it's fantastic.

Mr. Graley has done a couple for my Sebenzas and his work would be hard to beat.
Here is one made by Paul Long a.k.a. sheathmaker here on the forums.
The knife is the very rare stag handle Sebenza made by Chris himself late one night in '98.
;) (just kidding)
