Someone at work asked me about Combat Ready Knives. I don't get much info searching them. Some of their stuff looks........okay, but I am curious- are they a subdivision of a bigger company or just more China fodder?

5160--1/4"thick.....hmmmmmm

All but 1 model I could find are made in China.
I'm not permitted to link to the dealer, but think of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The funny thing is, the handle angle makes that look like a capable chopper.

I wonder about the heat treat?

They were originally a 'in-house' brand for SMKW. Seems they've gone beyond that now.

I'll tell you that Jared West, formally of Mantis knives, is somehow involved with them. To what capacity I don't know, but he's in with them, that's for sure.
