Who makes custom order knife batches?

I'm looking for a manufacturer that makes custom orders, knives made to the specifications I need. Does anyone know of a company that makes such a thing, preferably a recognized brand with good background? Anyone knows what would be the minimum lot order?

Kershaw did for A G Russell with the Acies. Some where around 250 or 500 total I think.
 
Lionsteel made the SR-1 for an individual I think but they are located in Italy. They made 150 to start. I would think it would have to be a good design and they would want rights to the design when done. I'm sure it would depend on the materials, the set up and tooling costs, number of items required, and the complexity of the design. There was a company on here that I no longer see that was a water jet cutter and manufacturer. I think he made some knives to people's specs but don't remember the name or see his sub forum anymore.
 
Anza can make a small batches of knives. No minimum, and the turnaround is usually very quick unless it's a busy season.
