Who makes fully convexed blades?

I think many knifemakers can do it, if you ask.
Bark River Knife & Tool offers production knives with a convex edge. They are very tempting.

Lots of the bladesmiths can do this for you. What style of knife are you looking for and how long are you prepared to wait?

bark river knife and tool. check out the new rogue and northstar models. I've heard nothing but praise about Mike Stewart's convex ground A2 blades.

[oops...didn't see that brkt had already been suggested. well here's another vote for brkt, then ;) ]

Production fixed blades with convex edges:
Bark River Knife and Tool
Marbles
Black Jack
Fallkniven

I don't know of any folding knife companies that convex knife edges.

sebenzas have a convexed edge, I believe

Well then the Sebenza isn't what you are looking for, but all of the fixed blades I mentioned have fully convexed blades as well as edges. I should have made that clearer.

Do Fallkniven make their knives with convex blades? I know that many have convex edges, but I don't think they are full convex.

Of the four brands above, three have one thing in common - Mike Stewart, now of Bark River. Go there first.

If it's a production model that you're after, definitely go with Bark River Knife & Tool. My BRKT Highland is about the best convex ground knife I've ever had the pleasure of using. Good steel. Perfectly executed convex grind.

You know I'm not sure... I had thought it was fully convexed blades, but upon checking their website they just say convex edge. So they probably use flat ground blades with convex edges.

I know the other three companies are all convex blades, and as Mr. Linton said Mike Stewart has been a part of them. Now at Bark River, Mike is kind of like Spyderco's Sal, always asking questions and trying to be helpful. He's a class act.

I don't want to start any problems but Mike Stewart has his own Forum over at KnifeForums. Like Sal Glesser, Mike Stewart spends a lot of time in his Forum answering questions and getting customer input for future models.

How would you be starting problems?

Fallkniven runs fully convex blades, some with convex edges, and some with convex primary grinds and secondary v-ground edges. They recommend v-sharpening the edge in all cases though.

The H1 and U2 for example both have very high convex primray grinds, and small (<1 mm) wide secondary edge bevels - which could be either flat or convex, they are just barely visible anyway so its not a detail to be concerned about, except for ease of resharpening, and even then it doesn't matter because you can reset the entire bevel trivially as its so thin.
