Daniel has suggested that I make the woodswalker available with a kydex or concelex neck sheath. Dozier Wegner are the best but somewhat pricey for a $10 knife. The post title says it all. Who out there can make these sheaths in quanity, 100, 200 at a time and deliver both quality and a reasonable price. thanks, A. G.

Hey AG...

Shoot me an e-mail with the particulars
i.e. blade size, type of sheath you want, delivery expectations, and a picture would be nice...

I think you've seen my work,so you know the quality you'll be getting...

Looking forward in hearing from you AG..

I'm just posting my support for Erics' "On/Scene Tactical" Concealex knife sheaths. I have had a few of them, and the fit and finish on each one of them has been excellent.

A.G.,

You couldn't go wrong with Eric. His reputation for service and quality are second to none.

This is a good question. I am looking for the same thing. Any other options besides OS/T? Their stuff looks good but I would like to see some ther options first.

Thanks,
Doug

Normark DOES make a good sheath--no question. Other makers you might consider are Scott Hendryx (in Boise, I believe; I don't think he's on this forum), & Mike Sastre @ River City Sheaths (he's around here a lot).

A.G., I think that would be great and I echo everyone else in that Eric is very good at what he does. As an aside A.G., I think every working fixed blade should be offered with an optional Kydex/Concealex sheath. They are so practical.

Oh, by the way A.G., I'll match Eric's work against Bob or Wegner's any day and he is more reasonable to boot.

I got a kydex question too, what is the minimum thickness for kydex, I just picked up a pice, and it is really thin, about maby a 16th of an inch thick. I was going to make a sheath with it, but I think that it is too thin, what do I do, and where can I get some thicker stuff for cheap?

ag,
i have a wodswalker and thinks a kydex sheath would be awesome (even though its become a permanent fixture in the kitchen)

FWIW i dont have any personal experience about on scene/tactical, but all i have heard abootu eric is good.

Eric's sheath's are of excellent quality and design, even if he is Canadian

Somewhere in late '99 or early 2000, Jerry Van Cook mentioned someone in Spokane who he had make all his Kydex sheaths. I think that was maybe even after he partnered up with Newt Livesay. He, by the way, A.G., is alleged to make very good kydex sheaths also.

Tho I've no direct experience thus far, I've never encountered anyone who is so routinely praised for the quality of his work, and the pleasure of working with him than Normark. I have yet to read a single negative word about him here, which I find remarkable.

I'll try to dig thru my old TK's tomorrow and find the Spokane guy's name.

Allen Blade made me a great concealex sheath. I also have had several sheaths from Mike Sastre @ river city sheaths. Good luck.
