What I'm looking for is a nice IWB sheath made of sturdy leather. Nothing fancy but strong. Who does such work?

Thanks,
Ralf

Kenny Rowe does excellent work.
I sortof stopped making fixed bladed sheaths
otherwise I'd offer my services.
Check out Kenny Rowe on KnifeArt.com web page.

Ralf- seriously, my suggestion is you find a good book on working with leather, a few basic tools and materials, and do it yourself. Very satisfying and if the bug bites you, you'll find yourself making sheaths for yourself, family, and friends (and possibly make a couple bucks).

If you do decide to do it yourself, I strongly recommend the Tandy Leather catalog. Everything you need, including things you didn't even KNOW you needed. Fast service, and good prices, too.
Good luck!

Hello,

For do-it yourself leather supplies
the LEATHER FACTORY is also a good place,,they have everything, and from what i have found at a better price than Tandy.

Truth be told.....Gary Graley does the best work I have ever seen and he preempted all the recommendations he was gonna get. Smart guy......
