These knives are well made and have good steel, or maybe they just hold a edge well. Anyway I've been wondering who makes them. Thanks.

Klein makes electricians tools. I believe that the knives have been made by camillus at various points, for sale by klein. I hope this helps.

I have a really nice little lockback like a small Buck lockback. It has well rounded edges on the handles and the fit and finish is quite nice.
Its marked Klein Tools Japan. I would guess its a brand used by one of the finer Japanese Knife companies. I was feeling smug about my maturing knife tastes till my girlfriend expressed a deep affection for it. Now she's got a cool little lockback.

Still working on the small knife aspect of the collection and attemting to shift away from the four inch black tacticals....just a little.

Thanks, guys. The knives that I've handled have all been very good quality. I figured someone on the fourms would know something about them. Thanks again.

The first locking folder I ever purchased was a Klein 110 look alike made in Japan. I bought it when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old and used it for quite a while. The quality was very good and I actually liked it better than a real 110. I haven't seen a Klein knife in ages so, I don't know if the quality is still there.

Yes the quality is still there and they still make the model that looks like the 110. Although it may not be made in Japan anymore.

I believe the traditional electricians slip joint knives to be made by Utica.
I have no information on the lockbacks.
