I'm trying to find someone who can make a taco style kydex sheath for my Lardeo, without having to send the knife in.
Can anyone make suggestions?

I don't have a specific answer, but I suggest making sure the sheath maker has the same model as yours since their knives in different steels tend to have different dimensions. My 3V Magnum Tanto XII is slightly thicker than my San Mai Magnum Tanto XII, and the SK5 Recon Tanto has a much smaller riccaso than the Carbon V version, for example.

I bought one of the excellent Panther Concealment sheaths for my Laredo and did some brief heating over a burner on my stove to make the neck pliable and then formed it to fit the knife to my liking.

Thanks - I've dropped Panther Concealment an email. I have one of Mike Sastre's Southern Comfort for my Ontario Bagwell, so this sounds like a perfect option.

I'm OK doing my minor tension mods with a heat gun.

Unfortunately Panther Concealment requires the specific knife to be in hand, so that doesn't work for me.

That's unfortunate, but I can understand why it may be necessary. I recently ordered a kydex sheath for a CS Trail Master from a non-BF maker. When it arrived the sheath was so tight it was nearly impossible to insert and/remove the knife from the sheath (i loosened it with a heatgun and now it's usable). Apparently the sheath maker purchased his TM 4 years after I bought mine and, in that time frame, CS lslightly reduced the thickness of the blade stock. I imagine the same is possible for any of the CS Bowies.

I hope you're able to find the sheath you want that fits properly out of the box.

This!
I encountered the exact same situation, and solution for my SM TM. The kydex sheath was based on a non-SM TM
with a slight difference around the ricasso/guard.
If you can send in your knife, that is the best way to guarantee perfect fit.
If not, just be aware that you may have to tweak it. In most cases you don't even need a heat gun, your hairdryer will do.
