I really like the toothpick pattern but find most be lightweight, this, and with somewhat delicate blades.

Then you really don't want a toothpick. Try a Panama Trapper, aka Banana Trapper, aka Toad-Sticker instead. Usually is 4" blade, thicker blade-stock, often a lockback.

RR large toothpick is 5" closed, 9" open. In sawcut bone it is quite a handsome, somewhat gaudy pimp knife. I don't know what other finishes they offer.

It opens easily; enough blade shows to pinch it open.

There was a gentleman on this forum (Coaltrain), which may or may not still be active here, that was searching high and low for knives he could open without too much trouble. He had mentioned having an arthritic condition which made it difficult for him to open most traditional pocket knives. One of his choices, after buying, handling, and trying many brands and styles, was the Schatt & Morgan 2010 File & Wire Daddy Toothpick with an ATS-34 stainless steel blade & Worm Groove bone handle scales. I believe there may be some vendors that may still have specimens for sale.
