Who makes MVS-8 steel?

Hi All,

I was researching for few hours this morning, trying to fill in the missing data in knife steel database.

Which company or at least country? The best i got is that it's supposed to be Euro steel, but no specific country.

I've seen only Japanese knives made of MVS-8, so I suppose it's Japanese steel.

thanks. I guess you're right, dunno why it was listed as euro anyway.
