I was at Sear's and I saw a knife with rubber black and red handle with a blade shape that was similar to a BM Doug Ritter Grip blade and it was priced around $25. Who makes Sear's Craftsman's knives?

Kershaw makes this knife. It is a Ken Onion design.

I also agree with Kershaw. This knife is listed within the Kershaw line on Sears online catalog. They sell Stanley(of course) Kershaw, Gerber(my first Gerber was bought at Sears back in the 70's) Rapala, Victorinox, and the most models are Case.
Over the years they may have also sold other brands too. Some companies will make "special edition" knives....just another way to market production run knives under another name. ie; Schrade would make a run of knives for Cabella and put a Cabella sheild on the knife inplace of Old Timer.
Looks like they (Sears) have this going on currently with Kershaw and Case right now. This is a practice both Companies benefit from.
At my local Sears..they only display a few models, whereas the catalog shows their full line. Seems to me years back I also bought a Camillus Barlow style knife from Sears too. Sold on the tool rack along with Electrical supplies. I may have even bought a Frontier lockback in those days. I still have it...just can't remember if I got it at Sears...or a Lumberyard.

Craftsman knives are made by Camillus, Case, Kershaw, Gerber, and Schrade (possibly others also, as listed above).

Sears Companion line are made by Prisoners in China though.

P.S. The knife in question [Found: here] is indeed a Ken Onion design, but Kershaw is not mentioned(?).

I want to thank you by the way, for pointing this beauty out. Being a Craftsman tool, it has the "lifetime" warranty. This would be a nice toolbox knife for the $24.99. I called my Sears, and they have a couple in stock. But also..they offer free shipping on their knives. Sears has always managed to be one of my favorite tool stores. I don't need another knife??? ...Yeah ...I must have a toolbox somewhere missing a knife. I know I do. Hey..wait..wait...there is no knife in my golfbag. How else can I sharpen a pencil? :D

I've had one of these for about a month. It was razor sharp right out of the package. I have been very impressed with this $25 knife.

well, heres the snap-on version. they retailed for 100 i beleve, i payed 75.
