Who makes SOGs?

I'm actually curious on this one, what manufacturer actually builds SOG knives? Moki, Hattori or Sakai? After much research as a newbie knife knut, I've discovered that most of my favorite production knives are actually Japanese, which is fine with me, because they are awesome knives! I'm interested because I think I see a common thread in the best knives, such as SOG and Al Mar. Would SOG consider importing some of these knives like Spyderco did? Just a thought.

I'm sorry, but I can't assist you with the info for which you're looking. All I can say is that SOG does diversify and no one company does everything for us. There is a long legacy of Japanese makers of outstanding blades. We have certainly used them as a pillar of our line.
