I have a Spyder Card, it's a little heavy and bulky, I have a Cabon Fiber CC with a sharpened edge I put on, great as a last ditch blade or for a ice scraper, but who makes the best CC knives?

I have CC Knives from Neil Blackwood, Warren Thomas, and Jens Anso. They're all similar in that it's a thin piece of Ti with a sharpened edge. Easy to hide, but hard to grasp for use. More geared for last ditch emergencies (which is why I carry it.)

I also have Peter Atwood's S30V CC knive. It's bulky, but works well as a slim profile flat edge/knife. My favorite is the CC knive by JSP, where I can use it as a money clip, so it hides in plain site.

Not to threadjack here, but when I went to court yesterday, the sheriff actually went through my wallet, I assume to check for such a knife. They also made me leave my keys at the desk because of my Prybaby, which has no sharp edge anywhere.

The SpyderCard is easily my favorite of the straight-up knives in this category, but it is kind of heavy. I sure wish they'd made it with titanium scales intead of steel.

To be honest, though, I stopped carrying my SpyderCard becasue of the weight. These days I EDC a Victorinox SwissCard Lite instead. The blade is minimal, but it offers a lot of tools and it weighs very little.

Broke the #$%& out of my plastic Swiss card, loved it to death, by sitting on the cement during an oil change. This hasn't been a problem with the Spyderco (aus-8) card, $20 at a blade show years ago http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6542386825&category=63800. Is there a card, with assorted tools, that can withstand being sat upon?

Best, oregon
SMKW has a few Swisscards that are pretty cheap which would replace your broken one. $6 - $19 isn't bad, might want to buy a backup ahead of time. ;)
