I've found a SOG Pentagon Elite II 5", and the Cold Steel Voyager X2 at 6". Any other bigger production knives out there?

those 6" Cold Steel folders (when I last looked, they made more than one model with that size blade) are the biggest "brand name" production folders
as far as I know

Bigcustom took the words out of my mouth . Opinel has got some whoppers . Practically small machetes .

On a seperate note . I had an antler handled folder with a ten inch blade . It was a bit of a joke . The blade actually extended below the handle when folded . Musta been 8 or 9 inches .

I think the new BM Rukus is worth mentioning even though it's only like 5" or so. Still a sweet blade.

I owned a CS Voyager 6". IMO, it's on the long side for EDC. I usually carried IWB appendix side but the draw was fairly slow and not reachable while sitting. It did disappear in my left pocket, though.

Maxam & Jaguar, I believe. But, unless you're going for the "novelty" effect, I wouldn't bother with them.

The biggest folder I've seen was one old folder from Germany. The blade itself is about 12'' - 14" long. I remember it looks like a daggar or a short sword.

I don't know if it's the longest but the Ontario/Hossom Retribution 1 folder just "screams" big.

The Italians make a 18" overall stiletto ( regular production), and a 36 " special order full auto stiletto......can't get any bigger than that !!!!
