Who makes these knives and are they decent?

not sure of the maker, but real bone and damascus steel will not cost you 12 bucks. I would be very surprised if it was indeed genuine.

most of the time on the ebay you get what you pay for. I hope it's genuine, but I have a feeling it wont be.

Probably Pakistan made. I wouldn't use it for anything, might make a good wallhanger or decorator piece.

thx - cpr

Two great parts: First "Hardness 50-55" Sounds like a great heat-treatment!!
Second: "We believe the manner of giving is more important than the gift." Translated: Knife sucks...:D

The lower priced Damascus knives are imported from India , Pakistan and China. The blades are usually a little soft, but are in fact Damascus.

Sometimes the overall fit and finish of the Indian and Pakistani knives are a little "off", but you will usually get a decent looking knife without spending a fortune.

Also if the knife you bought turns out to be as advertised, you got it at a decent price.

yeah all those guys are right.. its most likely "pot metal" damascus and is very soft... it is a very nice lookin knife though!! haha reminds me of those knives on cutlerycorner.net has anyone ever seen them on TV late at night??

looks like crap. Has a big chip or dent in the blade as well=P
If it were mine id toss it in the garbage=P
