Anybody know?
I almost forgot, this knife belongs to member with a username caine.

Looks like a Martin, but I'm not sure, Gene

Hey Barny....

Not sure what knife that is,, however I offer a suggestion...

If you want a serios Bushknife,,, stay away from Most knives that have saw backs or serrations on the spine...

For the most part, they don't work well and in my opinion have absolutely NO purpose on a bush knife..

Go with a straight spined knife...

hey amigo, you've got this posted twice. i just posted on the other one. that is a MR14XL, i made that for one of our brave service members. i should have another one ready next week. so far it does'nt have a home, and i was planning on putting it on the website when i have it ready. www.martinknives.com

Sure looks a lot like that model Bo Randall sold a bunch of during the Viet Nam war (a model 14 maybe?). The sawteeth on the back of the blade were supposedly intended to help some poor shot-down SOB saw his way through the aluminum skin of a downed plane or helicopter he found himself trapped in.

Barny I believe caine goes by the handle of death takes last (DTL) over on the barkriver forum. I will see if I can direct him this way.
