who makes wood scales for the bk11?

didnt want to hijack the other thread about bk11 scales so i made my own. Anyone make wood scales for the bk11? how do you secure them? do you take orders? I saw a while back some pics of one with wood scales that covered the entire handle include the bottle opener and it looked sweet and comfy. i checked the handle mod thread and didnt see any there to start my search
 
Marathonman might make them, he does some excellent work, he is also a member here on the forums if you want to shoot him a PM....
 
I like the bottle opener/wire stripper, but it seems nice the ability to switch to something fuller when desired. Seems like it be fairly simple to make. Some strong wood, polyurethane, and an a$$ ton of sand paper. Honestly if you have the time, and trust your hand, I'd say try it yourself. Advantages seem many.
 
shoot me a pm, i have many exotics to choose from.... although there will be a small wait involved so if time is of essence I cannot help you at the moment..
 
I'd also be interested in a pair of wood scales.

Do you make them the same size as the micarta ones or do you cover the bottle opener?

I remember talking to him a while back and he said he couldn't do the bk11 scales at the time. Maybe he would be able to now tho not too sure.
