Found my grandfathers old axe in the attic. It was covered in rust and dirt. Managed to clean it up and found a brand/makers mark. A hexagon shape with a bird resting on an axe head inside. Now the 100 dollar question - who made it and what was it made for? A hatchet perhaps? Chop down trees? I live in Scandinavia so chances are it is from this part of the world.
