A lot of limited edition type stuff coming out in the steel, but I don't want to compete with ebayers, or pay their idiotic markup. I always figured I'd get a WH in raindrop pattern damasteel; so I'm not really looking at them, especially because of the thin liner locks.

I'll try any steel once, but I don't really want to pay a premium just to see if I like it.

NGK has the Jess Horn ZDP from Spyderco in stock at the moment according to their website ($65 + change). Far as I know, the only company currently offering ZDP as part of their regular, stable line-up is WH. Could be wrong, but I believe that's it.

Isn't there a pass around running, as if there isn't I can run one with the Delica/Horn, or both. They are both reprofiled and well used, but they will let people look at the steel.

I've never tried a passaround, always worried I'd end up losing the knife and screwing it up for everyone else.

Sign up last solves the latter problem, if you lose it you lose it, it happens. If you make a point of "losing" every knife then people would likely get upset.

WH uses button locks now. I don't know if they have made anything with raindrop damascus in the button lock yet, but they will. They do their wave damascus on some of the regular models.
