Who ordered this Banspati?

This Banspati was a special order but when Wordpad and I trashed my order list this order went, too. So, I'll put it up and see if anybody claims it. If not, I'll sell it off for $150.

As you may be able to see from the above scan of the handle this Royal Banspati was made by Bura, so marked, and a fine khukuri it is. It is 20 inches overall length, about 1/2 inch thick, and 1 & 3/4 wide, and weighs in at about 2.25 pounds.. It is probably as close to perfection as you will find in a handmade khukuri. Fit is perfect as far as I can tell and finish is not far behind. I remember whoever ordered this khukuri did not want an engraved blade but engraved handle only and this is how it is. Engraving on all three handles is very nicely done. Karda and chakma are very nicely done. The scabbard has suffered some damage right at the mouth but it is an easy fix.

So, let's wait a couple of days and see if this blade is claimed and if not whoever logs on as buyer first gets it.

That is one beautiful khuk, Uncle. As Edd put it, I'm a bit light in the checkbook as well, so I hope the true owner comes forward quickly to claim it so that he can put me out of my misery.

I know, and that is what makes this such a good khuk as it is not just for display, it will also get the job done if there is no other khukuri around...

I hope it somehow finds its way to the fellow who ordered it. My Wordpad is still acting up. It gets into the never ending loop when I ask it to change page formats and I have to shut down manually. Other things make it do the same thing. It was fine for awhile and then started asking nuts. I am not computer literate enough to fix it. But at least I have now made backup files!!!

If you get a deposit with a special order than even if your computer burns up the person with the money down will make contact with you and you won't have to worry about it.

Is there any special way to place a special order? Needs wodden model or have to take five in a line? Or kinda secret handshake?
