I don't own Himalayan Imports. I know I sound like I do sometimes when I post stuff here but I don't. Kami Sherpa owns this company. I'm just a US representative. My mistake is I should say Himalayan Imports instead of I, or Kami Sherpa, or Yangdu and not make it sound like I am personally Himalayan Imports. Please overlook this mistake on my part.
The reason I often say "I" instead of Kami Sherpa or Himalayan Imports is simply because I'm here at this keyboard and because Kami Sherpa and I agree on almost all aspects of running a business. When I say "I" what I mean is all of us. In Nepal, because it is so poor, we try to pay substantially more than is necessary for services received there. We try to pay what we feel is fair rather than how little we can pay. In the US where the living is a lot better we try to offer a quality product for a reasonable price and give the best service we can.
If Kami Sherpa was the kind of guy who tried to pull shady deals or who shafted anybody, especially the poor, I wouldn't be here. If I was a shady character or was the kind of guy who tried to shaft people I wouldn't be here, either. Kami wouldn't have me in the company. Same with Yangdu -- both sides of the street.
Maybe this isn't important but I felt it was worth mentioning. I like to try to keep things straight with everybody, forumites, customers, lurkers, anybody, so we are all sending and receiving on the same frequency.
