I'm curious how many folks prefer the sterile blades to the logo. I absolutely will not buy a Hinderer with a logo on the blade. I wish they would start offering a sterile blade again. It makes for such a clean look IMO. What's your preference?.....

I don't mind the logo, in fact i kind of like it. Every reputable brand/company has one, im proud to own a hinderer and have no problem bearing his name/logo. That being said I could do without the giant "USA S35VN" engraving.

I like sterile blades the best. I don't mind the Hinderer logo, but not a fan of the blade steel stamp on the other side.

Prefer sterile blades on the XM.

Come to think of it, I got mine off of the OP! :)

I'll take them as they come.

It's not up to anyone other than the maker how they roll and it's obvious where my support lives.

All that said, I like less over more and would love hidden makers mark(s) over other things.

I feel it does further confuse the masses on the actual size of the RHK business when the knives sport marks in some ways similar to those seen on much more common knives.

And believe individual serial numbers etched into the inside of the locksides would be über cool...with all the obvious benefits of record keeping and benefits to customers in record keeping and security, etc.

I've owned both and would say I prefer sterile, but don't mind the logo. I think they did the logo in a classy way that doesn't distract too much from the blade itself.

In light of all of the piece of sh!t thieving clones, the blade logos are warranted and make sense. I appreciate all generation of knives and the various logo treatments over the years.

Yep, some ruin the fun for the rest. In a time of sanctions over actions one would think the world would try to truly shut down the crap that floods onto the markets (deceitful, grey, black and otherwise).

I don't mind the logo, but feel like the font on the other side could be shrunken a little. Less is more for me.

Less is more.

I prefer, in order, sterile, then the horse head logo by itself, then the old school Hinderer, then the current full logo + signature.

I like all the variations , but am really looking forward to getting a Sterile oh and logo with signature of course ;)

As mentioned above, I have a high respect for the guys at RHK and would do the same to my knives if it were me. I love the first and second gen markings, the lovely sterile blades of the 3rd gen, and the productions and customs of the new gen. All are pleasant to me, but that being said the plain blades give it a more "clean" look in my eyes. I have some of both and enjoy them all the same.
