Who Remembers......

I remember thinking I needed one but never picked one up. It's an interesting design that is functional based on what I've read.

I remember, I remember!

I remember Pit showing it off over on the Scrapyard Knives forum back when he got it.
That post by Pit was responsible for my initial interest in custom knives and led me to BF then JK Knives.

I had one made - love it -

I remember it. I've always thought it was a great design although a little unusual.

Great pics Andy!
Just out of curiosity, can you tell us what it weights?

My pleasure!

My example tips the scales at 17.6 ounces.

My knatchet is made with 3/32" 01 steel, with a handle consisting of maple burl scales with thin red micarta liners. The handle measures just under 1" at the widest point, tapering in on the forward end.

The knife is 11 3/4" overall, with a 4 3/4" blade tip-to-heel, but it has a full 6" of sharpened edge with a large belly that can be used ulu-style.
