top -- 15 inch pound and a half AK by new kami. Good work. Only problem with entire rig is pronounced grain lines in handle. 5 minutes and some black epoxy makes it perfect. Good karda & chakma. Same old perfect scabbard & frog in new leather by village sarki.
Take it home for half price -- $62.50

center -- 15 inch pound and a half AK by Sher. Very good work. Rig is 10/10. Only problem is 1/2 inch crack in handle at bolster. one minute super glue fix. Great buy at half price. $62.50 takes it away.

bottom -- Beefy pound and a half BAS by Sher. 10/10 work by Sher and village sarki although the leather looks a little pebbly on this one -- but it's still a tough and well made scabbard and frog. Only problem is grainline in handle. Maybe some superglue or use as is. Don't think the line will develop. Delivered to your door for $60.

Call or email to get any or all of these lucky Friday 13th special deals.

gone to 'Stan
Not exactly Uncle, this is the young fellow that bought the 18" WWII made by Sanu a little while back. He likes his khukuri so much he wanted to get khuks for his dad, stepdad, and grandfather back in his home state of Georgia.

That's right, Sarge. Order from Stan but ship to GA. I assumed they were headed for your group. Good kid thinking of the folks back home.

He is a pretty good kid, but he kind of scares folks the way he's always polishing the blade on that 18" WWII. I can't be sure, but I think he sleeps with the thing:eek: :D

Perfectly normal:eek: As long as the sheath holds together through the night, that is. :D otherwise it could be a problem!!

Doesn't everybody?
My family is trying to cut back, my grandfather slept with one Colt SAA .44-40 hanging on the bedpost and another under his pillow.

ON my night stand next to my BAS is a .45 Colt.1875 Remington copy and under the pillow is a Smith .44 Mag. Just normal as can be. Mom has her .38 and .22 Mag in a similar situation on her side of the bed. She is worse than I am though. She has her rifle in that same corner.:D :D

The .45 Colt for the robber and the .44 mag for the car he's driving.

Hey Pappy, did you notice the bottom pic- Sher- looks convex?

munk

I've never tried but I hear the .44 mag will blow a hole in an engine block. True or false? Experts?

With the right bullet it can crack the engine block. I don't know about 'blow a hole'. Police used to be issued steel bullets in .357 for vehicular penetration, don't know if that's still around. Wouldn't take many bullets to erase a barrel.

I was thinking about the car doors. That's what I like about magnums, they'll go through a door and get the bad guy. I suppose the car better be heading towards you rather than away for the legal battle afterwards. Instead of. "Use a gun, go to jail', today's slogan should be, "use a gun, call a lawyer."

Sounds normal to me
In honesty, I got into the habit of keeping a sheathed knife in my sleeping bag as a young fellow. A stuck or frozen zipper is no joke if you have to move out in a hurry for an emergency. Still, I'd hate to try drawing an 18" WWII from inside a sleeping bag.

20 years ago I would have instisted upon a bottle of hooch. Some like snacks...perhaps a portable TV. Bill, with today's tastes, it could get crowded in there.

:D Yeah, the guns and khuks do get kinda cold in the night.

Knife and gun in the sleeping bag along with a nice warm female is about as good as it gets.
