and this was after cutting cardboard, poly banding and bunch of 175lb ( the thick ones) zip ties today. Thought she might need a little touch up on the sharpener after those thick zip ties.
Still sharp enough to slice a strawberry thin enough to see through.

Benchmade Adamas 275

Nice! Factory edge or did you change any of the edge geometry? Mine is plenty sharp but doesn't hold up like that! I love the 275, the ergonomics are supreme.

Have only sharpened a couple times on the sharpmaker at 40 degrees

very nice! every time I don't use my Adamas for a while I think about selling it, but then I see stuff like this and I just can't do it. d2 is good stuff.

I love mine. I hit it on the Sharpmaker, and it stays sharp. I do mine at 30, and micro-bevel at 40. I also sharpen the crap out of it with the ultra fine rods, which polishes it up pretty well.

I wish they would do some sprint runs on these, in some exotic steels! Can you imagine?

If they did an Adamas in M4 or maybe even M390, I'd damn-near sell a car to afford it if necessary.

How about not only different steels, but some different grinds as well. I really hope those guys are reading this. They would sell the living hell out of them!!!

Different grind?
The way the Adamas is ground is the primary reason it is my main carry knife. It is so robust I trust it to do anything any knife could do (that isn't a fixed blade). I trust it similarly to my Becker BK-2. It can take anything i can dish out, yet cuts quite well.
Change the grinds? Maybe... But I wouldn't buy it with a changed grind.

I'd have to agree with rock, I like to robust grind. It works just fine, it has taken everything I've given it without complaint.
