Alright, so these are just some examples of material. Please no one ask about purchasing, or pricing in this thread.

Keep in mind that most of these are rough cut, and not sanded or polished.
This is some 1980's Current Composite, crosscut linen phenolic scales with an absolutely wicked patina. These guys make some of my all-time favorite material, and they're probably my favorite, modern producer of phenolics. While a lot of companies have outsourced their production overseas, Current Composites has kept their production stateside since they started back in 1962.
This is a 5-3/8" diameter, Westinghouse crosscut butterscotch linen Micarta slab. This came from a HUGE 5-3/8” x 48” Westinghouse rod that I cut into .16”, .25”, and .375” slabs.
This is Westinghouse crosscut layered canvas Micarta. It's quite a bit brighter on the inside once it is cut.
This is what the Westinghouse crosscut layered canvas looks like on the inside once you cut it. I don't have any material left with this awesome fade at the top unfortunately, but I believe Pop's does.
This is a Westinghouse crosscut natural canvas.
1950's/1960's U.S. made (unknown manufacturer) crosscut canvas phenolic with a heavy patina (your guess is as good as mine as to what's inside, lol).
Unknown year, unknown maker crosscut canvas phenolic.
And just for fun... Some 1930's/1940's Westinghouse rag Micarta.
