I keep hearing about Mad Dog knives but have never seen one. Does anyone know of a site on the net that has them?

Clay, you beat me to it.

Was also going to refer to Cecil of Arrow Dynamics.

He carries them, for sure, and knows a lot about them, too.

AC, I get all my knives from Tom Chrispin, he does not have a website but he is definately the best distributer of these fine knives, email me if you are sure you want to buy one and I will give you his address, you will have to pick the knife first at the other sites.

Hunting? Don't be a wise guy, what do you hunt with a knife?

Name it!

Scott Moore, of Moore Knives (mooreknive@aol.com) has been a Mad Dog Dealer longer than anyone else. He always has a good selection, and is a wealth of knowledge about them. He served with the 'brown water navy' in Vietnam.

Also, he has a collection of prototypes and early S.E.A.L. knives; he is a very good source for questions along these lines.

We have plenty of other threads in the archives here with lively discussions of the merits or demerits of Mad Dog knives, both in absolute terms and relative to the asking price. The party who started this thread just wanted to know what dealers carry them.

Yes, there are presumably pre-owned Mad Dogs on the market, as with other brands for a variety of reasons, not limited to buyer's remorse. One could check the "Knives for Sale - Individuals" section in these forums, or see if anybody is selling one on Ebay. There has been some discussion of warranty coverage for people other than the original purchaser, so one may want to get some clarification on that.
