Who should I contact about an edge profile and mirror finish on a new knife?

I just got home from a 4-day birthday weekend in San Francisco and of all things, there is a Brick and Mortar Knife store on Pier 39 called We Be Knives (webeknives.com). My B-day is actually May 10 but this was this was the best weekend for me and mine to go. So We Be Knives had a new Fluted Ti Military on their shelf that had gone unsold for over a year. I told them no one is going to pay what they were asking ($480) even though it's a super fine knife and hard to find with the limited production. He asked what I'd offer and I offered $280 and he took it so I now have a nice TI Fluted Millie in my rotation :D

However, what I don't have yet is a nice Wicked Edge or Edge Pro yet but I want a nice profiling done on this Fluted Millie and a mirror edge put on her now.

Who would I contact on Bladeforums to get this done?

Thanks!

Pictures to come!

I do have an Edge Pro, but don't have enough guts to tamper with someone else's spendy knife! But there are plenty of folks on BF - both pros and Joes - who could slap a sick, mirrored edge on that Millie. We will see who rises to the surface.

I'd hit up CrimsonTideShooter (jdavis882 on YouTube) I personally have not used his services but from what I have seen he does VERY nice work.

Don't be scared to ask one of the custom makers too. I just got back a Scrapyard knife from Scott Gossman. You have lots of options.

Hey Reek, I'll do it if you want me to. I have done $1000+ knives so rest assured that I take the up most caution. If you want to see the kind of thing I do then here's my normal procedure:

I made this video just for times like this. Comes in handy, haha.

I sent you an email this morning right after I posted - reply back with the details and we'll get her going :)

Thanks,

Rick

For mirror edges... There's really no better than Knifeknut1013 as far as I've seen.

I second knifeknuts edges. Before i learned to do it myself i sent him one and damn it was well done.
