A couple of years ago on a cold snowy sunday afternoon we decided to spend time as a family playin' some old board games.

Well apparently we lost the spinner to a board game we had wanted to play, so I pulled out my Queen Serpentine Jack flipped the long clip blade out and spun it on the kitchen table.

A piece of glossy paper, a sharpie and 2 minutes later we had our spinner, we even added extra spaces with different rules.

Now when ever we play any game that has dice or a spinner, my daughter always say's, "Let's use your spinner knife daddy...".

I've noticed that certain patterns spin real nice if you spin them on their spines/backsprings so that had saved the day, the knife would spin up to 18 seconds, I thought that was pretty impressive and showed good balance.

Anyone else spin their knives and if so what knife did you use and how long can you get it to spin?

That's funny.... I spin mine too! Mostly closed. Not sure
why. Usually when I get a new slippie I test its spin
capabilities. Which are very important for .... ok maybe not that
important but fun.

Now there's a way to pick a winner in a giveaway. Spin the knife that's being given and let it pick it's own recipient.
