Who stays for the entire credits at the end of movies?

Does anyone stay the full time the credits are rolling?

Just during Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves - to hear the Brian Adams ballad :D

Seriously, only Jacky Chan movies because he has bloopers at the end.

I don't mind staying for the credits because it lets everyone else get out without trampling me. :)

I used to like credits when they only listed the people materially responsible for the movie, not everyone they hired to help. Credits now list caterers, pets, and kids standing outside peering through cracks in the wall. They even list the people who hire the people ...

I always stay.

1. To pay respect to the people that made the movie for me
2. Secret endings
3. Less traffic leaving

Depends on whether I go with my Dad or alone.
Dad , we wait a bit for folks to clear out. Alone, I am out of there the second the film is over.
In the case of the newer Dawn of The Dead , I am glad it was crowded enough so that I stayed for the ending credits :)

I too always wait till the end, for secret endings and so I dont have to worry about the parade.

I always did, and now, more and more, they're putting stuff during/after the credits.

I remember seeing movies like Hot Shots or Naked Gun in the theater and being almost the only people that stayed, and with these movies, half the jokes are in the credits.

Yeah, I learned to do that from the Cannonball run!

I always do - I know people in the production companies, and I'm always hopefully for a "Ferris Bueller" treat at the end. :D :p

I love to stay for the whole thing. The only problem now is that i am so used to sitting at the aisle that i always have to get up and sometimes leave 'cos everyone wants to pass. My wife likes to leave early as well. Annoys me sometimes. Sometimes the cleaners come in before the credits end so that kinda makes me uncomfortable staying in my seat when she's picking up the rubbish and all.

I pity those people who left early for Dawn of the Dead. Serves them right.

Some of us Hired Help like to stay until the end of the credits ;)

About the only time we will is if we're looking for a music credit or somesuch, which often show near the end of the credits.

When I was a teenager of 15-17, I'd stay 'till the lights went on and the ushers kicked us out, since I was usually making out with the girl that I picked-up for the evening...I RARELY saw much of the movie I went to watch.:D.:D.

Didn't think you were old enough to remember them old classic films.. :D

No surprises there....when 'THE END" showed up on screen there were no Bogey out-takes and the lights came up. Time to leave or get hosed down......

I stay for some animated films like Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo to watch the extra scenes running through the credits. I'll occasionally stay to see who was responsible for special effects when they are done particularly well. Good music during the credits also is an incentive to let the theater empty out before leaving.

A good tool to find out if it's worth staying for the credits is the "Crazy Credits" link whatever movie you're going to see. Just as a random example, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".

BTW, anybody who doesn't stay for the credits during a Jackie Chan movie is a complete moron. :D

I stay until the credits are over because I always want to know who did the catering. :D
