Robert Newton?

I am a fan of Laci Szabo's blades and he's got a new knifemaker
producing his designes. I can't find anything about this guy and was hoping you all could give me a run down of his work. Do you have any experience with his stuff? (Rob Newton not Laci) what's his reputation? What sort of steel is he known to use. Basic stuff.

I have a combat UUK made by him. I haven't done any real testing because I consider the knife a pure fighter. However, it looks and feels well built, able to withstand abuse. I can't even remember what steel was used but I know it was a carbon steel.

It ain't the prettiest knife I own, but it's the deadliest.
 
I have his PC1 personal carry. Small knife with around 2" blade, 1094 or 1084 steel differentially heat treated, great utility knife in spite of the size. Easy to sharpen, great work.

Been using it for 1 year, great knife.
