Who thinks we should start a poll to get Ethan to design a belt ax?

What do you think? He took the knife world and turned it upside down with the creation of his wonderful knives. Why not another life saving tool, the old school belt ax!! Can you imagine mods for this and sheath variations? Who's in?

Moose will tell you that the idea has been brought up and he has been trying. My guess is that much like the tweeners, which have been inside Ethans head for decades, it will be awhile until we see an actual prototype, let alone a production.

But if i remember that a belt ax was already designed and set to be released....i think its called a macax.....maybe it was a matax.......no thats not right...oh yeh the machax thats it. lol

I like my tomahawks old fashioned and traditional. I'm not a big fan of the modern short stubby handled "tactical tomahawks".

I'd much rather see a Becker dagger, really more of a BK interpretation of the old WW2 trench knife. Typical Becker handle but with a stout blade which is double edged for about half it's length.

I want an Official Becker Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!

???

i want to see a mini becker handle-shaped capsule firesteel thingy. another member here posted pics of one he made out of micarta...can't find the pic or remember who though.

maybe we should start a committee to consider asking people if they think we should see about doing a survey to find out if a poll would generate enough response

Hey Sam Hell......

I gotta a few designs in the drawer and a bunch of moderately original ideas for hawks and hatchets........I always thought of the Machax as a hatchet with a sharpened haft, actually..........My real problem though is trying to figure out how to create a design for a hatchet or hawk that will deliver either better value OR so utterly fasionista whacko wonderful that it will compete with an Estwing ........Not easy guys.......There is some real value there........Ima Workin' on it........

All best.....

Ethan

My vote is to go to gunshows with a Becker handle and an Estwing handle, let people feel it, and ask them which one's more comfortable. The Becker handle will win hands down.

Dude, nobody has suggested the obvious:

The Bearded Hatchet. (duh)

The "BK-W"(eirdbeard) :D

Though honestly, I'd prefer a haft on a hatched that you can choke up on, and the standard BK handles don't encourage that.
OTOH, a tweener-like handle, adapted to a hatchet with a BK-11 style bottle opener at the back-end would be Murph's next purchase. hehe.

you mean a chronaudiograph? most definitely. This air carbine is belt-fed, right? else I'm not interested.

Everyone and their grandma has a tactical tomahawk out now, including United Cutlery. Why not a more practical outdoor version produced by Kabar and designed by Becker? :D
