Unlike hatchets heavy full tang knives are more evenly balanced and less likely to bounce back at you. I have probably thrown large knives at my stump 20,000+ times. Never had one come back at me. The most they ever did was bounce off maybe 3ft. Hatchets on the other hand have gone 15ft in rebound. Which is fine since I throw from over 20ft.My only concern is if it rebounds and comes back at me, that sword is a killer from each and every side!![]()
Practice with cheaper large knives first if you have not done it before. Then move up to better knives.I might throw my LE if it ever ships![]()
Thanks! I have been throwing anything that I can get my hands on for a long time. I would warm up with cheap stuff but have no issues with throwing fancy blades (once I decide they will not be re-homed.)Practice with cheaper large knives first if you have not done it before. Then move up to better knives.
David Brown The real question is, with that size, do you throw it like a javelin, half rotation or full rotation?
