I just stepped back in time 3 years!

I just got off the phone with Derek at EKI. He has several '98 Commanders still available with serial numbers from 010 up into the twenties. These are original production '98 Commanders. Get 'em while you can. Brand new.

After reading all those posts about the original .062 liners vs. the current production .050 liners here is your chance to get the original. Hell, it will be about the same price as the new upcoming "Super Commander". Which one would you rather have for the price? I'll make mine a '98!

See them here:http://www.hometown.aol.com/eknives/eknives.htmlor call Derek at (310) 212-7455.

I have been thinking about buying a commander for some time. When I heard about EKI selling '98 model commanders I thought now was the time to finally buy one. But after I saw the prices of the 98's available I am not so sure of myself. I was thinking of waiting for the cost of the Super commander to come out before I make my purchase. I like the idea of having a super sized version of the commander and will have to wait and see.

I just got off the phone with Derek and bought #22. The price was kind of steep but I figured, it's the knife I carry with me everyday, train with and the one that I bet my life on. I want the beefiest Commander I can find.

It's a dream come true!

There are still a few left. #28 is on the way to me right now. There are lower SN's available, but #28 is a special number for me so I snagged it.
Just ask our friend John Hollister who it might be that managed to score #2. BTW, #1 belongs to Ernie. :D
Guys, the Super Commanders will no doubt be very cool, but without the thicker liners and scales of the 98's,....how can you beat a 98? You can't. Get 'em while you can!
BTW, I have it on good authority that this early batch of 98's are just slick as can be. Perhaps they're priced a bit high for some, but these are certainly as good as it gets. Sell your children into slavery, pawn your dogs, cash in your souls,....and get one of these early 98's. Who has ever lost money on a 98??
And these early 98's; who do you think they were ground by?

:D

Trade for a '98

Great idea Eric: I think I'll keep my kids, but I'm willing to trade the Mrs.

Features:
-Good cook and keeps a clean house.
-Great looking Gal that you won't be embarassed to bring into public.
-Owns her own Beretta and is a 'shooter'.
-carries three knives daily and usually doesn't complain when a new knife arrives in the mail.

..."who me Honey, I'm not doing anything. As a matter of fact, I was just about to go into the kitchen to do the dishes!"

Never Mind!

RAYE -
It was a `Riot' when she stopped by the Chat the other night. Ya can't trade her...She's a keeper. (unless it's for a waved 8;) )
Bob -

Don't DO it Ray! She's got a sense of humor and those are DARNED hard to find! If that's not enough, she actually seems to like Suspects. (In an, "Oh look, they're so cute when they wrassle" kind of way)
Where are you going to find another one like that?
Whoa! STOP! Don't even LOOK at MY wife!

:D
