Okay, heres the deal.
One of our members found this old thread.

He contacted me and offered to make me a VHS copy of the movie if I was interested?
Since I never saw this movie and I had waited over forty years, I said, Sure! He sent it to me Free of Charge, and suggested I offer it to anyone else who was interested, starting with the guys that posted on the original thread (which I have done).
Now, heres the chance for the rest of you that want to see this movie.
What you will need to do is; First post here (to bring this thread BTTT, so that others can see it). Second is to E-mail me your Mailing Address. Third is you must agree to send it to the next person on the List (in a reasonable amount of time and at your expense). You can copy it if you like, but please dont try to sell copies to any of our members here. That would be kind of low.
I wish I had seen this movie when I was 5 or 10, but I still really enjoyed seeing it. Dont get me wrong, but IMO this movie is awful. They dont even pronounce Bowie right, the story is stupid, you wont know from the movie that Jim Bowie even heard of the Alamo, its like they just ran out of film. The acting, directing and writing is horrible, this is no Shane. My favorite scene in the movie (1:02) is when James Bowie orders the knife from James Black. Bowie gives him four days to make the knife and doesnt discuss price once, why cant all custom makers work like that? This movie was worth seeing for that scene alone.
Im glad I saw it, but Im sure glad I didnt pay to see it. I think I understand now why copies of this are so hard to find. Im not trying to turn anyone off to seeing this movie, Im just giving an honest review.
