230....i love your NMFBM and im not trying to rain on your parade (I own one myself) but after much debate over the super high priced SAR-8 I bought one and it is super sweet!!!

That SAR-8 is one of the best looking Busse's ever. If anyone has a banged-up user you wanna get rid of for cheap, give me a hollar :thumbup: :D

I originally bought the TB to be my primary camp/hiking knife but after I got it I realized I wanted something longer for the weight.

If I am only taking 1 knife on long hiking trips, this will be it. The NMFBM is too heavy for long hikes but is ideal for camping/hiking short distances. The TB is still one of my favs but may become second choice to my SAR-8 due to length/weight ratio.

Not to mention my scrapper 5...i freaking love the weight and handle on that. too many knives that i love!!:eek::eek:

That thing would carry lighter than many Busse's half its length, and be a phenomenal backpacking blade. I'd order several of them!

Id be down for that....but not for a while...with the Boss street coming I am BROKE!!!:D
 
That's a real nice one. Took a lot of willpower to resist snagging one for myself!
 
Awesome knife, I would snatch up a combat grade in a heart beat. The NMFBM and Boss street + Christmas have me tapped though. I'm a sucker for convex blades.

Next to the M9LE. This really is a beautiful knife that feels great in the hand.

Not phenomenal from a photography standpoint, mind you, but phenomal because it compared the SAR8 to another awesome knife that I let slip out of my grasp...

And the SAR8 compares favorably :thumbup: :D

I took that in the middle of the night, with a Powershot, a 65 watt bulb, and lots of Crown... :D

SAR-8 really is fantastic. Get one, I thought it was expensive until it was in my hands.

It wont be the best chopper but all around, length, thickness, weight, balance are excellent for my taste....and it came razor sharp!
 
I JUST missed out on one of these.. the Bully snatched it up as I was typing my "I'll take it"
